An American bald eagle is recovering at the SPCA in Tonawanda, N.Y., Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Beverly Jones, assistant director of wildlife services at the SPCA, says the male eagle was somehow injured several weeks before he was found in a ditch and his fractured wing was already healed. She says the bird will never fly again.
