Christie Pierce, a retired nurse, stands still and holds her camera at the ready as a chipmunk approaches the scene she created Thursday. A year ago, Pierce began photographing many chipmunks around her rural patio, then began setting up scenes for them to interact with. Now she is producing a calendar to sell.
