The Egyptian Museum, at right, is located in Cairo’s Tahrir Square next to the former headquarters of Hosni Mubarak’s National Democratic Party, at left, which was burned during the 2011 uprising. Plans are being drawn up to demolish the burned building and create an exhibition garden for the museum.
