Artist Ellen Paulson poses for a photo Tuesday in the Blue Door Theater in the Garland district, where her work is being shown. Paulson creates colorful acrylic paintings with the addition of bold lines in ink. She came to Spokane a couple of years ago from Wisconsin on a whim.
