Removed through windshield: Michael Knapp, center with baseball hat, consoles his mother, Laura Knapp, after the car she was riding in with her husband, Jim Knapp, was broadsided by another vehicle and slid off the road at the corner of Ivanhoe and Graves roads near Whitworth University on Monday. The car came to rest between trees and the Knapps were extracted through the windshield.
