TLC: The old wooden roller coaster at the Washington state fairgrounds in Puyallup is becoming new again, one board at a time, as workers for Funtastic Rides labor late into the day March 7, racing to meet an April deadline for the Spring Fair. The wooden coaster is a rarity that has thrilled hundreds of thousands since 1935. Workers have been replacing track and support structure for the half-mile ride in a $1.25 million restoration project.
