No leaf left unsold: Customer Shanna Michel picks out plants from the last of the stock at Spokane Valley High School with the help of para-educator Gordon Spunich on Friday morning. The horticulture classes at the West Valley School District alternative program raise the flowers, vegetables and bedding plants for the sale, which sold out within a few hours of the 7 a.m. opening.
