That was the roller coaster, right? People walk through the Ancient Ruins, a haunted house based on archaeology and ancient cultures, at Silverwood Theme Park’s annual Halloween celebration, Scarywood, which opened Friday night to an enthusiastic crowd. There are 11 new attractions for Scarywood’s fifth year, and older ones have been enhanced, a spokesman said. Attractions include 3Dementia, the Blood Bayou, Ghouls Gone Wild and Timber Terror roller coaster, which runs backward. Tickets are $25.99 on Thursdays, $30.99 on Fridays and $39.99 on Saturdays.
