Relishing another dry run: Kawner Barbour, 21, takes his turn in the bowl at the skate park at Dwight Merkel Sports Complex in north Spokane on Monday. Barbour, who’s been skating for 10 years, said that as the weather cools and turns rainy, he and his friends will skate indoors or at the skate park downtown under I-90. Then they will switch to snowboarding for the winter.
