Tanya, an 8-year-old pit bull mix, was dumped at a shelter as a puppy, in New York City. She stayed there until earlier this year when Elli Frank, founder of Mr. Bones and Co. in New York City, got her out and tried to find her a home. Frank won’t acquire other dogs until Tanya has a home.
