Mike Britton, who owns Mike’s Old Fashioned Donuts on East Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley, cuts maple bars from dough during the morning rush on July 30. He starts around 3:30 a.m. each day and bakes until around 9:30. The shop closes at noon.
