At the state Class 2A track and field meet, East Valley senior Elisha Allred qualified in javelin and discus. In javelin, her first throw was a personal best by more than a dozen feet – 135 feet, 7 inches. In discus, she won the meet and a second state title with her best throw, 127-7.
