In this photo taken April 24, young salmon that have been transported by tanker truck from the Coleman National Fish Hatchery are loaded into a floating net suspended on a pontoon barge at Mare Island, Calif. The young fish, called smolts, will be transported out into the San Pablo Bay, where they will be released.
