Ryan Zema, a high-school senior, changes his street shoes for rubber boots before going to a classroom session at the Colville Fish Hatchery during his fisheries and wildlife class. Stevens County purchased the hatchery from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to use for high school science and vo-tech programs as a satellite campus for the Spokane District 81 NEWTECH Skills Center.
