The dreaded Post River Hill along the Iditarod Trail forced Josh Rindal of Spokane and Bob Jones to use a rope winch to pull both machines up the slope. “It’s the worst section of the entire trail,” Jones said. “This photo doesn’t do it justice.” Rindal and Jones of Kettle Falls were snowmobiling 1,400-miles along the route of Alaska’s famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race in March 2014.
