Two of the local natives at the Takotna checkpoint on the Iditarod Trial pause for a photo. Josh Rindal of Spokane and Bob Jones of Kettle Falls were snowmobiling 1,400-miles along the route of Alaska’s famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race in March 2014. By the time they arrived here, the race had come and gone.
