Surveys of the public led the city to adopt a cable stay bridge design, pictured above in an artists’ rendering from KPFF Consulting Engineers, for the University District pedestrian bridge. The arch on the suspension bridge design will top out at 120 feet, said University District Project Manager Brandon Betty.
