Spreading holiday cheer: Jerry Schmidt hauls an articulated lighting feature from an enclosed area near the IMAX theater in Riverfront Park to a pathway near the Spokane River in preparation for Spokane Winter Glow Spectacular. The free event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 28 at the Rotary Fountain and will feature lighted displays along pathways on the river’s south side, an animal light zoo near the IMAX, and carriage and wagon rides for a fee. Times are 5-9 p.m. through Jan. 1, with slightly longer hours on the weekends.
