Blending with sky: A snowy owl has taken up residence on the top of some old drilling equipment just outside of Creston, Washington. Just as some of our senior-aged “snow birds” in Spokane head to Arizona, these snow birds fly south from the Arctic. They have been spotted as far south as Lewiston this year, but they are most commonly seen by local birders in the Davenport area.
