Susan Tyler-Babkirk, Women’s Hearth program director, on Wednesday stands by a front window displaying the artwork of Stephanie Meier on the inside glass in downtown Spokane. Meier, who drew the images with markers last week, was hit by a city truck Tuesday morning as she slept on the ground near a construction site on the West Plains. “We were always really amazed by her creative energy,” Tyler-Babkirk said.
