Thomas Croskrey, left and Dave Musser remodeled an abandoned mechanic’s shop on Monroe for their Bellwether Brewing Co. Croskrey, the brewer, is into reviving Old World beer styles, like braggots (made with honey in addition to malted grains) and gruits (with herbs instead of hops); Musser, a community activist and pastor who helped start the farmers market and community garden in Emerson-Garfield, sees it as a way to further revitalize the neighborhood.
