2014 Notable Seniors

2014 notable graduates from Spokane-area high schools.

Alyson Meginniss, of the Community School, had an intership teaching Lego robotics at Browne Elementary School, and was recruited to participate in the 4-H program, She was picked to go to Washington, D.C. with 4-H leaders. Alex selected Spokane Valley High School as his school of choice and has spent the last four years honing his academic knowledge and skills to make a positive difference. During his freshman year in high school, he went to Rwanda for the first time. He was struck by the difference in culture and it cemented his hopes for the future. Theresa Sievert is the notable grad from Mead High. Academically she is exceptional and this is evidenced by her perfect 4.0 in our most demanding course, and test scores, but even more so, by comments from her teachers. Theresa’s senior year schedule includes AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP Government, AP Literature, college level Biochemistry and Wind Ensemble. Theresa plans to study Bioengineering, hopefully researching the human brain and drug delivery methods, to find new ways to help those with mental illness. View Theresa’s story
