The 10th-ranked Bulldogs led by as many as 22 points in the first half, endured a couple of rough patches in the second half and defeated BYU 83-63 in front of 6,000 Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at the McCarthey Athletic Center. Gonzaga (18- 2, 5-0 WCC) maintained its hold on first place in the conference. Saint Mary’s is in second place at 6-1. BYU (15-6 overall) dropped to 5-2.
