Memorial Day Ceremony at Fairmount Memorial Park

The Melvin M. Smith Detachment #586, Marine Corp League, and, VFW Post #51 conducted a Memorial Day Ceremony at Fairmount Memorial Park on Monday, May 30, 2011.

American Legion Rider and former Marine, Tom Quinn, assists Mary Ellen Weberg to her seat, during the Memorial Day Ceremony at Fairmount Memorial Park, conducted by the Melvin M. Smith Detachment #586, Marine Corp League, and, VFW Post #51. Weberg came to honor “several” relatives who had served the country, including two husbands, and her son. “We do this each year,” she said.
