Nepal earthquake

At least 1,400 people are confirmed dead after a massive earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday. The magnitude 7.8 quake struck before noon and was most severely felt in the capital and the densely populated Kathmandu Valley. More than a dozen smaller aftershocks continued to ripple through the region for hours.
