Storm damage: The day after

The huge storm that rolled through the region on Wednesday uprooted trees, ravaged a trailer park and left dozens of families displaced. People spent Thursday cleaning up the debris.

Russell Edwards narrowly escaped injury on Wednesday afternoon when a tree crashed onto his 1998 Ford Mustang as he sat in the driver’s seat in his driveway on East Regina in north Spokane. The car is totaled, and Edwards carries only liability coverage.
