Wahkiakum used a 16-3 second quarter run to pull ahead of Lind-Ritzville/Sprague and defeat the Broncos for third place in the WIAA 2B Boys State Basketball tournament.
Lars Bix scored a game-high 22 points and the Mules held Lind-Ritzville/Sprague to just 35.3 percent shooting for the game. Dylan Hartz led the Broncos with 14 points on 4-of-10 shooting and collected a team-high four rebounds.
Both teams shot well from the 3-point line as Wahkiakum made 10 of its 22 attempts and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague was 9-of-28.
