Spencer Novak scored 16 points and the Braves took advantage of the cold-shooting Cardinals.

Winlock made just 2 of 25 field goals in the first half, including 0 of 9 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals scored nine first-half points.

Winlock got some shots to fall in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late.

Caleb Rose had 11 points and eight rebounds as Winlock was eliminated.

NW Christian 62, Morton-Wh. Pass 59

Jonathan Morris scored 19 points and the Crusaders rallied after a slow start and beat the Timberwolves in a consolation-bracket game.

Morton-White Pass led 25-14 early in the second quarter before NWC slowly got back into the game.

Late in the fourth, Tyler Stephens was fouled after grabbing an offensive rebound and sank two free throws with 19.8 seconds left to give NWC a 61-56 lead.

Kalen Dunlap, who scored a game-high 20 points, nailed a 3-pointer with 8 seconds left to bring the Timberwolves within two points at 61-59. Following a Northwest Christian free throw, Zach Walton had a chance to tie it for Morton-White Pass, but his 3-pointer at the buzzer was off the mark.

Nick Kiourkas added 13 points and Austin Friedly 11 points and 10 rebounds for Northwest Christian.

Brady Ellis led Colfax with 17 points and nine rebounds as the Bulldogs pulled away in the second half to advance to the title game.

Brandon Gfeller scored 16 points and was 6 of 6 from the free-throw line. Thirteen of his points came in the second half, and he led all players with four assists.

Gfeller’s 3-pointer with 5:00 left in the fourth quarter from beyond NBA range put the Bulldogs up by eight and capped a 23-5 run that began at the end of the first half.

The Mules were held to just 11 second-half points and converted only 4 of 22 shots the third and fourth periods.

Peter Weiler led Wahkiakum with 13 points and Eli McElroy grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.

St. George’s 55, Lind-Ritz./Spr. 52

Erik Muelheims and Dexter Sienko led St. George’s past Lind-Ritzville/ Sprague and into the championship game.

Muelheims scored a game-high 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting for the Dragons. Sienko recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Colby Starring hit a pair of free throws with 3:02 left for the Broncos to break a 50-all tie and give Lind-Ritzville/ Sprague its second lead of the fourth quarter. Muelheims found Corey Spalding open on the right wing for a corner 3 to put the Dragons back on top 53-52 with 1:50 left.

Muelheims hit two free throws with 15.6 seconds left to give St. George’s a three-point lead and the Broncos misfired on 3-pointers by Dylan Hartz and Starring on their final possession.

Starring led the Broncos with 14 points and made 4 of 10 3-point attempts.
