Deal struck for Valley Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County and the Central Valley School District are partnering in an effort to turn the former Keystone Elementary on South McDonald Road into a center that will house an after-school club for kids along with the district’s social services programs.

CdA trustees select interim superintendent

The Coeur d’Alene School district has chosen an interim superintendent. Stanley Olson will lead the school district for one year, while the board of trustees searches for a permanent replacement. According to his one-year contract Olson will be paid $133,000. His first day will be on July 1.
