Shock sold to new owners

The Spokane Shock is under a new ownership group.

Arena Football Partners, LLC, with investors from Washington, including Spokane, and California, has purchased the team from Brady Nelson, who brought the popular arena football team to Spokane in 2006, and Nelson's partners.

I spoke with Nelson earlier and will be updating the article currently on the S-R Website.

Said Nelson: “It's been such an amazing run, so fun and so fulfilling, an incredible amount of time and effort. I just decided now was kind of the right time.”

More later.
