Spokane agrees to settle sexual harassment lawsuit by former wastewater employee for $875K

Sonya O’Brien, who left city employ in 2013 after what she described as five years of harassment from male coworkers that included intimidation and defacing of a women’s locker room, will receive about a third of the amount she requested in an original tort claim against the city. The employees at the center of the allegations are no longer employed by City Hall, officials said.

A group of four women reunited in Spokane over Mother’s Day weekend to honor their mothers and a friendship that has lasted over six decades.

Freeman Scotties seek first state championship game
