Women’s Top 25 poll: TCU ranked in women’s hoops for first time since 2010

It’s been a long climb back to the AP Top 25 for TCU. After more than seven years out of the rankings, the Horned Frogs entered The Associated Press women’s basketball poll on Monday at No. 24. They were last ranked on Nov. 22, 2010, and are 13-5 this season, including wins over then-No. 7 Texas and No. 15 West Virginia.

USA Gymnastics announced the resignations of three key leaders Monday while more women and girls told a judge about being sexually assaulted at the hands of a sports doctor who spent years with Olympic gymnasts and other female athletes.

Washington State has officially named Patrick Chun as its new athletic director. Chun, who has spent the past five years leading the sports programs at Florida Atlantic University, will be introduced as a press conference in Pullman on Tuesday.

Gonzaga falls to No. 15, one spot ahead of Saint Mary’s

Gonzaga’s loss to Saint Mary’s cost the Zags just two spots in the latest AP college basketball poll, but it did wonders for the Gaels. The Zags (17-4, 7-1 WCC) fell to 15th after a 1-1 week. Saint Mary’s (18-2, 8-0) returned to the rankings at No. 16 after three-point road wins over Gonzaga and Pacific.
