On Thursday, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at WSU announced the recipients of the Black Lives Matter Artist Grants. Each of the 20 winners will receive $2,500 to “fund the creation of art that communicates the voices, experiences and artistic expression of social justice efforts in response to systemic racism,” per a news release.

The Flaming Lips have canceled their March 19 concert at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. In an email, Fox staff said though the show has not been rescheduled, they look forward to welcoming the Flaming Lips to the Fox in the future. Refunds have been issued to those who bought tickets with a debit or credit card.

After announcing in September that STCU Best of Broadway performances were postponed because of COVID-19, WestCoast Entertainment announced Wednesday that those performances have once again been rescheduled. The season will kick off with “Cats,” running Oct. 26-31, 2021.
Singer and pianist Jim Brickman was looking forward to going on his annual holiday tour across the U.S. at the end of the year, but the coronavirus pandemic had other plans.
