The District 8 4A/3A boys and girls basketball tournament games scheduled for Thursday were postponed another day due to winter weather in the Tri-Cities area.

With four rounds still to be played, officials scheduled the 3A boys and girls second-place games for Monday – hosted by the higher seed – in order to have all seeds to state settled on the court.

Friday’s winter storm and blustery conditions on Saturday forced widespread postponements of most district basketball tournaments across Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
The Region 4 4A tournament was held on Friday at Camas HS. Due to the weather, the two-day event was condensed to one, with the top six in each weight class qualifying for state.
