Junior Bloomsday Deadline Is Today

FOR THE RECORD: (April 2, 1995): Junior Bloomsday will be April 15. The date was incorrect in a reference on page B2 Saturday.

The Junior Bloomsday deadline for early registration is today.

Entries must be postmarked by midnight tonight to avoid a late entry fee. Forms are available at Spokane area Albertson’s stores and some schools. Entries received after today must pay the $10 registration fee.

More than 10,000 children are expected to participate in this year’s half-mile or two-mile run on April 16. All entrants must pick up their race numbers at the Junior Bloomsday Kids Expo on Thursday, April 13, at the Spokane Convention Center.

Hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Those wishing to register late may also do so at that time.
