Girl Injured In Wreck In Critical Condition

A 14-year-old Colbert girl suffered massive head injuries when she was thrown from the car involved in an accident in northern Spokane County Saturday night.

Nicole L. Oman was flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where she was listed Sunday in critical condition.

Three other people were injured in the accident, which occurred about 9 p.m. near the intersection of DayMount Spokane and Dunn. None were wearing seat belts, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The car was westbound on DayMount Spokane when it crossed the eastbound lane, went off the road, hit an embankment and rolled, state troopers said.

The driver, Bradley E. Roadruck, 25, of Mead, was partially thrown from the car. He was flown to Deaconess Medical Center, where he was listed Sunday in satisfactory condition.

Donovan C. Rongey, 15, of Mead, was treated at Sacred Heart for a broken thumb.

Courtney A. Hargrave, 13, of Spokane, was treated at Sacred Heart for cuts to her face.
