Restaurant Planned At Pines And Mission

Applebee’s is planning to open its first Spokane-area restaurant at Pines and Mission.

The franchise restaurant will be the third phase of a project by developer Jamie Wolff.

The restaurant, near the curb on the northwest corner of Pines and Mission, will be about 5,500 square feet, Wolff said.

It could open as soon as this fall, he said.

The Kansas-based national chain has other restaurants in Western Washington.

Wolff, a real estate attorney, is developing the 3.5-acre lot into a $4.5 million multi-use project.

The project includes two retail shops and headquarters for Tomlinson Valley Inc., a real estate office.
