Vecci Severance Tops $239,000

Ray Vecci, who resigned Feb. 9 as chairman of Alaska Air Group at the request of the board of directors, will receive a total of $239,423 through September as part of his severance package.

The package includes his salary and a lump sum payment of $126,023, plus reduced early retirement benefits. He also gets to keep his company car, a late-model yellow Cadillac.

The one-time payment to be paid Sept. 30 equals four months of salary and unused vacation pay.
