Exxon Affiliates, China Sign Pacts
Three affiliates of the energy conglomerate Exxon Corp. have signed exploration and development agreements with the People’s Republic of China, Exxon announced Friday.
Two agreements will expand the company’s exploration activity while another signing involved building a chemical manufacturing facility in Shanghai.
“Exxon is enthusiastic about our future in China,” said Exxon chairman Lee Raymond, who was in China to attend the signings.
