Summer School, Levy On Agenda

Summer school programs and the annual supplemental levy are on the agenda Monday for the board of the Lakeland School District.

The school district regularly runs a spring supplemental levy election for $18,000 to pay for activity buses the next school year.

In addition, the school board will discuss providing separate summer school programs for high school students and students in grades 5 through 8.

Architect Gordon Longwell will present proposed summer remodeling projects to the board, as well.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the library of Athol Elementary School.
