Batt To Discuss Future Of Inel

Gov. Phil Batt plans a little giveand-take with Idaho Falls residents next week.

He plans to outline his plans for dealing with the economic future of the Idaho National Engineering laboratory.Batt said he will cover the issues surrounding the storage of spent nuclear fuel at INEL.”I am coming to listen to the concerns of those who will be directly impacted by my decisions,” he said.

The meeting starts at 10 a.m. Monday at the Idaho Falls Center for Higher Education.
