Decision Still Pending On Antique Shop

A Trentwood antique shop owner still is waiting to find out if the business will be granted a conditional use permit.

At a hearing held Wednesday, Penny Simonson requested the permit so she could continue selling antiques in her barn.

Neighbor Tom Tupper presented his argument against allowing the retail business in the residential neighborhood.

Zoning adjustor Tom Mosher probably will make a decision within a month or so, said Heather Dressor, of county planning.

Simonson started selling antiques last October at No Place Like Home, 13409 E. Wellesley.
