Idahoans Must Remove Studded Tires By Today

Studded snow tires must be removed from cars and trucks traveling on Idaho state highways by today, transportation officials said.

Studded tires can be used from Oct. 1 through April 15 in Idaho. The deadline for removal in Washington state was April 1.

Oregon, Nevada and Utah allow studded tires until April 30, Montana until May 31. Wyoming has no such restrictions.
