Spokane Consultant Plans Seattle Office

Spokane-based Phenneger & Morgan Inc., is opening an office in Seattle.

The office will be headed by Jerry E. Keppler. Keppler is a former partner in the Seattle CPA firm Clothier & Head, and for the past 10 years he served as president and CFO of a Bellevue-based buyout firm specializing in the acquisition and sale of private companies.

Founded in 1981 by Dick Phenneger, Phenneger & Morgan is a consulting and administration firm well known for its design, financing and implementation of some of the nation’s major employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) purchases of companies.

“We are excited that Jerry is joining us,” Phenneger said in a news release Friday. “We have a sizable influx of interest from the Puget Sound area regarding ESOPs and how they can be used in succession planning. Not only does this allow us to better serve our Puget Sound area clients, it adds substantial depth, knowledge and strength to our total operation.”

Phenneger & Morgan also has an office in Portland.
