Area Lakes May Be Restocked

By The Spokesman-Review

Proposals to kill non-game species of fish in Williams and Badger lakes will be discussed in a public meeting at 7:30 p.m. April 26 in the Cheney City Council chambers at Second and D streets.

The Washington Fish and Wildlife Department plans to treat the lakes with rotenone to rid them of scrap fish that compete with trout. The lakes would be treated this fall and restocked with trout for the 1996 fishing seasons. Info: 456-4082.
