From Staff And Wire Reports

An 11-year-old girl was hit by a car in north Spokane on Saturday night.

The girl was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center, said a paramedic from Spokane Fire Department.

Her injuries were not serious, paramedic Terry Canfield said.

The girl was walking home from a store near Market and Heroy about 6 p.m. when the car hit her, Canfield said.

Authorities did not release the girl’s name.
