Derby Field Narrows

In Character is in, Key Guy and Treasurer are out and Knockadoon is doubtful for the Kentucky Derby.

In Character’s trainer, Bruce Jackson, said his colt will head to Churchill Downs from Santa Anita to get ready for the Derby on May 6.

“We’re planning to come,” Jackson said.

Knockadoon, who finished second to Talkin Man in the Wood Memorial, “is possible but doubtful,” trainer Tony Reinstedler said.

Key Guy and Treasurer are definitely out according to their trainers.
