Brothers, Grandmother Face Drug Charges

Two brothers have been arrested on drug charges, and their grandmother may also be charged.

Michael J. Sears, 25, 6003 N. Addison, and Aaron D. Sears, 24, 654 S. Thor, were arrested. Their grandmother, Florence M. Hart, 72, 543 E. Longfellow, is expected to be charged, Sheriff’s Lt. David Wiyrick said.

A fourth suspect, Tanya D. Bell, also known as Tanya Kuhnhausen, 24, has also been arrested.

During three raids, investigators found $45,000 worth of LSD on plain white paper with 100 perforated squares per sheet, Wiyrick said. They also recovered $2,000 worth of psilocybin mushrooms and more than $5,000 in cash.

On April 5, agents from the Spokane Regional Drug Task Force purchased 3,900 hits of LSD from Michael Sears, Wiyrick said. On April 12, they searched his home on North Addison and confiscated LSD and psilocybin mushrooms, Wiyrick said.

Authorities searched the home of Florence Hart and found a 126-plant marijuana growing operation April 13.

That day they also searched the home of Aaron Sears and seized equipment used in the indoor cultivation of marijuana.
