Oregon State In Finals

Eighth-seeded Oregon State edged No. 6 seed Florida by .075 points to join the top five seeded teams in tonight’s women’s NCAA gymnastics championship team finals.

Georgia, Michigan and defending champion Utah had advanced to the finals earlier, and were joined by the top three teams from the night session - UCLA, Alabama and Oregon State.

Meanwhile, Kentucky’s Jenny Hansen won the all-around individual crown for the second year in a row, her 39.800 score standing up through the evening competition.

UCLA had the top team score in the night session with 196.375.

Georgia, the top seed, led the afternoon session with a score of 196.825.

Hansen scored a perfect 10 in the vault, had 9.950s in the beam and floor exercise and a 9.900 in the parallel bars.
