Clinton, Graham To Attend Service
The nation will try to help this distressed community heal Sunday with an interdenominational prayer service led by President Clinton and the Rev. Billy Graham, officials announced Friday.
The service is scheduled for 3 p.m. The event is being called “A Time of Healing.”
First lady Hillary Clinton is also expected, along with religious leaders from across the state.
“It is very important to have this interdenominational service,” said the Rev. Edward Weisenburger, vice chancellor of the Catholic Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
“It will provide a sense of comfort and a feeling of God’s presence among us.”
